Arena Round 2 - Guildford 12th November

Congratulations on a fantastic Team effort in round 1. We must have surely been the smallest team there, but definitely the most determined - with some swimmers swimming in up to 7 events and also swimming in 3 different age groups to fill gaps, but still gave it 100% to gain as many point as they could for the team, which was fantastic.

As I said, it was a huge TEAM effort from all and I don't normally like to give individual mentions, but special congratulations really should go to a busy Charlie Fennimore who gained an amazing 5 new PBs from 6 swims including a huge 12 second PB on his 100m butterfly. Very well done Charlie!

All together we gained 21 new PBs (including first leg of relays). Although these cannot be counted as PBs, as they are timed from a moving start, there were also 23 other relay splits quicker than PB times, which should give you all confidence that you can swim good PBs next time you race these as individual events.

Round 2

Eastleigh & Oaklands, Worthing and West Wight you are now at The Spectrum in Guildford - its about a 45min coach journey, returning to the island on the 10.15pm ferry as the last round. Please meet again at 3.50pm at Ryde Pier head on Saturday November 12th.
